"Gizu": winter grazing in the South Libyan Desert

"Gizu" (also spelt gizzu, jizu ang jizzu) is a sudanese term for an  ephemeral type of succulent winter grazing which occurs on the southern fringes of the Libyan desert in approximately two years out of five.
